Living on the Star there is certainty; a certainty that had been dashed since the shattering. However, nothing good in life comes without a cost. If you want certainty and safety, you accrue debt. Every moment of safety adds to your ledger, and those who default o their debt have one of two choices: either be cast out and down into the blight or to become indentured to a Delving Company. If the latter option is taken you are equipped with gear that drives your debt even higher creating a harsher reality, that you will be doing this until you are dead or lost in the blight. ‘Delvers’ risk their lives in the world below, working off their ever increasing debt in hopes of a big enough score to pay off their debt to return to a life of certainty and safety.

GAMEPLAY

Delver warbands have a straightforward approach to combat: apply over-whelming force until whatever threatens the crew stops moving. Nearly every model in the range has access to powerful ranged attacks. Coupled with support pieces procing rerolls on attacks, you can put down an entire squad of foes with a withering hail of fire.

KeyWords

  • Fortunate One: If a model with this included in a warband, it must be selected as the leader, it does not gain the commander special ability as a result of being selected as a leader. However, each round at the beginning of the Start Phase this model may either select to gain the Commander and the paymaster special abilities or gain 2 loot tokens.
  • Jammable: If a model rolls below the jammable threshold it disallows the usage of that weapon attack until either a reload is done to remove the counter, While this seems like a weakness it becomes a boon as the delvers can gain Burning which sets their foes ablaze.
  • Loot Tokens: This simply allows for the expenditure of one token, which acts similar to fortune tokens to allow the re-roll of one of your attack roll
